Designed as a K-6 school for 400 students, with expansion to K-8, the school features a series of "schoolhouse" modules that function as self-contained educational elements. These modules are arranged along a central "learning street" with study and learning resource areas between modules. Each classroom module contains a variety of teaching spaces and is characterized by extensive use of mezzanine floor areas. These spaces provide the flexibility needed to meet changing enrolments and to accommodate alternate teaching techniques, thereby stimulating the young, eager minds that they serve.
