A complex renovation and addition laboratory project for a new Federal Food Quality Program Facility for Agriculture & Agri-Food Canada, which consolidates scientists from decentralized facilities in Ottawa into facilities centralized with provincial facilities at the University of Guelph. The project involved a complex three-dimensional space shuffle, with minimal disruption to ongoing laboratory functions. The new pathogen testing facility is unique in Canada and is a key factor in the recognition of Guelph as an international centre of food quality research and development.
