Designed as a prototype for sustainable living and development, this house model incorporates concepts and systems. The impact and interrelationship of various different elements and systems within the building and site are evaluated, integrated, and optimized as part of the whole building. Energy systems, water systems, use of materials and traditional concepts such as shading and orientation give form to the resulting home. The house is designed to easily grow and change with the life of the family, providing a "house for life".
